Knickerocker is an independent underwear and clothing shop. It started on Etsy in 2008 and still has a presence there today. My aim is to create clothing that is enjoyed by the wearer, through designs that are imaginative, unique, cute, and colourful. And clothing that can also be worn everyday. My hope is that Knickerocker lingerie, will help you to express your personality even if your work clothes can’t.
Knickerocker is for anyone who wants to wear it and I'm happy to work to custom sizes and alterations. You can find more information about this, here.
Thank you for shopping small.
Knickerocker mostly specialises in cotton knits, which are sourced from local factories or independent fabric shops. Every scrap of fabric is kept and used in some way, even if its just for cutting out eyes! All Knickerocker items are handmade and sewn to order. Every effort is made to keep prices as low as possible, most of the cost involved is the time it takes for me to sew an item. (I wrote an essay about what is involved here: 'Why hand made may cost a little more' ) I pay myself a fair hourly rate because I am an expert in the field of fun underwear design.
